- Spin Like a Champion Today.
- No matter who you are, no matter what you do, you absolutely, positively, do have the power to change.
- The pride you gain is worth the pain.
- Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it. - Plato
- The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.
- You have to train your mind like you train your body.
- The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.
- A revolution is an idea which has found its bayonets.

Growing up as a dancer, Trista has always loved fitness classes and challenging her body in new ways. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Dance Teaching and Choreography, so the progression from teaching dance to group fitness seemed natural. Trista is qualified to teach many different styles of classes ranging from dance, barre, and cardio kickboxing all the way to spin. She has always enjoyed spinning, but really fell in love with it after completing her first marathon. She loved having a workout that was safe on her joints, and that challenged her to push past her limits more than each previous class. There is nothing better than a low impact class with high impact results! As her addiction and passion for spinning grew, she couldn’t think of a better way to honor that love than to share it with others by teaching. She is so excited to be a part of the Revolution Spin team, and can’t wait to share her enthusiasm with everyone in class!
As a former soccer player Ramon used cycling relentlessly to cross train and condition. In early 1997 he took his first indoor cycling class as a new challenge, and was so into it he became a certified instructor later that year.
Look for a intense, challenging and motivational workout when taking Ramon's classes. He creates a blend of hills, intervals and jumps set to energizing music profiles that are guaranteed to have you feeling amazingly accomplished (and tired!) by the end of class.
In 1995, Jen started teaching group exercise classes, including spin, as a way to finance college while training. After joining a sponsored triathlon team, she has competed at all distances of triathlons, including the Austrian Ironman in 2004, as well as a variety of adventure races and marathons. Currently, Jen is on hiatus from the demanding training schedule of competitive racing in order to be a soccer and tennis mom. In her free time, she enjoys mountain and road biking, running, and any form of adventurous, sweat- inducing exercise.
In Jen's spin classes, expect a high intensity mix of hills, sprints, and intervals set to an electic mix of heart pounding pop-alternative-rock-dance music. In boot camp classes, Jen likes to mix it up using full-body functional strength training with high intensity cardio intervals designed to keep you burning a high rate of calories even when class is done. Routine is the enemy of conditioning, so every week we will be mixing in new moves and tools.

By the conclusion of her class, you will feel accomplished and sweaty!! As the mother of two active boys, she understands taking time out of the day for exercise can be challenging. As a long-distance runner, road cyclist, mountain biker, and yoga junkie, Mark took his first spin class in 2001. Five minutes into the ride (sweating, gasping, and working to stay on the bike), he realized he'd found something that was not only fun, but that would take him to the next level physically. He was certified and began teaching in 2003.
Mark's classes are high intensity and high engagement, and feature high-energy music. He'll ask you to find your edge and to lean into it the entire class.A psychotherapist by trade, he works on both the physical and mental aspects of fitness. Mark helps his class members find their perceived limits and move past them. Over time, he can help you learn to find mastery over the"inner game," in an atmosphere that's a cross between a meditation and a rock concert.
Kim became an avid cyclist at age 12 when her dad gave her his old Motobecane road bike. Despite the indelicate bruises from hitting the top tube repeatedly, Kim was hooked for life. When Spinning hit the group fitness scene, she hopped on it. In 2003, she became certified to lead indoor rides and has been teaching ever since. While Kim is passionate about outdoor cycling, she loves Spinning because it is the perfect training tool. “It provides conditioning for the outdoor cyclist or triathlete, cross-training for the runner and a challenging, effective workout for everyone.” In Kim’s class, you will gain strength and speed by riding the varied terrain, sprints and intervals to a wide selection of music (and singing along is always allowed). “No matter what your fitness level, I will challenge you to crush that ride. The group vibe will inspire you to feel good about your efforts and have a great time. You will want to come back for more.” Kim works as a certified personal trainer and believes Spinning, training for an event, losing weight, or becoming stronger aren’t merely short-term goals; they are part of a bigger picture – to live a healthy and balanced life as an active individual.
Franco found his passion for cycling at a young age after riding the Apple Cider Century with his father when he was 12. He has been an indoor cycling enthusiast since his first class in 1997 and uses indoor cycling as a training tool for Ironman and ultra marathons. “I love the fact that you can’t just coast when you’re tired, the indoor training teaches you to keep your legs moving, always!” “Indoor cycling is also a useful cross training tool for runners strengthening core and glute muscles essential for running long distances.” Franco favors interval training, heart pounding climbing simulation as well as epic 2 hour sessions.
